So interesting Sam! Ok I’m now questioning why my instinct then is to always burst through that door, regardless how I feel, I don’t know if it’s rebellious older age or pure stupidity, maybe pausing with a bit of patience in the opening may be a better idea 🤔 food for thought! ❤️
Wonderfully written, Sam! I think we've all stood in that doorway, casting a glance backwards to the cosy comfort with all its attractions (whether they're the best for us or not!), whilst also poking our heads into the new unknown...xx
A wonderful piece and insight that many will relate to. Understanding ourselves with care not criticism. Allowing ourselves to grow and move forward, to discover new experiences and new ways without judgement, but with time and kindness.
Absolutely love your post, it reminds me of a quote I recently found. Chaos causes change, as change arrives it promotes healing. I also went through this very epiphany as a spiritual person myself. It was actually right before I met my soulmate, I had the confidence of a lifetime, and she got to see the person I was truly deep inside without of course my shitty committee. Yes, there are days now where she has been introduced to that small portion of me inside. But she also reminds me of who I truly am, and who I can choose to be is all up to me in the present moment.
I’m so glad the post resonated with you and that your experience led you to your soulmate, that’s beautiful 🤍
I’m about to step back out throgh the door and although there’s a little bit of trepidation, I feel confident that I can get a bit further this time and will be less likely to let those old patterns of behaviour pull me back through, but if they do, I’ll be kind to myself, this is a lifelong journey and it doesn’t matter how many times we walk through the door, stand in the doorway or simply close it behind us, as long as we keep learning x
Thank you! Having the faith within ourselves is what helps us succeed outside ourselves. I agree no matter the amount of time, as long as we are pressing forward trying our very best, while learning new things each new experience. Be gentle with yourself during the transition, and always remember everything happens and arrives in divine timing! Stepping out of our comfort zones can seem daunting or scary but only if we choose to view that side of our energetic scale. Always stay optimistic as much as possible, and never live with any regrets, and constantly align yourself to things that put you in connection with your higher self, giving you the confidence and control you’re seeking for this life long journey! 🤍
